Great place to take the little ones. Animals, shows, play equipment, tractor rides and more. The children are grown, so we take the grandchildren, it would be nice to see something a little different. Sometimes wellies are needed. Other times take the towels and swimwear for the splash area. Hope you have a great day out.

Staff are always so friendly & so much to do even in winter. You can pay for just the soft play/inside area or pay for the farm too (access all areas type ticket) so it's for all budgets. I think the ticket prices are really reasonable for the amount of stuff there is to do & compared to other 'family' attractions nearby. We went one Saturday in January & again on the 1st day of the February half-term. Will be going in summer when the splash pad is open.

Children love this place. There is a large indoor play area as well as a huge and varied outside area with lots of rides and activities. We went on Mothers Day and even though car park was completely full it did not seem overly busy in the park

Firstly if your thinking of going you can save £1 a ticket by booking online but make sure you take a screenshot of the confirmation number as the supposed e-mail confirmation you are meant to take with you never got sent. Fishers Farm is OK for 4+ but there is not much to do with under 2's except a small sensory play area but I do mean small, as you don't pay for them I guess Fishers don't see the point in wasting money providing for them. You need to leave a visit a good week or so after it has been raining as the drainage is terrible, to get across to the pony rides you have to walk across a gravel and grass path which becomes completely waterlogged and muddy. Also be aware these ponies are about 2 or 3 times taller than a small 3 or 4 year old. Most other paths were running in water even though it hadn't rained for 24Hrs. Although the employee's at the pony rides were about the only friendly ones we found, the girl talked to our 4 year old all the time she was leading the pony round asking her if she'd been on a pony before and if she was enjoying herself. Also make sure you take plenty of drinks for your little ones and even a picnic lunch as the cafe prices are very expensive, 3 packets of Quavers, 3 iced biscuits and a coke £8. Another scam Fishers operate is the pony rides which won't accept cash (shows how much they trust there employee's), quad bikes etc only operate by tokens, this is where they catch you out. You can buy tokens at a £1 each on the way in but when you find all the batteries to the quad bikes are dead and try and get a refund for the unused tokens a surly employee calls you a liar and says he has just walked past them and they were all working. It is then they point out a sign saying no refunds but that should not include ride tokens when the rides are inoperable. There was no staff in attendance at the quad bikes when they were operating so big kids were deliberately bumping into bikes smaller children were on. Also when the batteries ran out there was none to change or recharge the batteries or give a refund for the tokens that the dead machines had happily taken in. At the bouncing pillows there are two one big one for the bigger children and a smaller one for the younger children which clearly stated no more than 6 or 8 at a time but again there was no staff supervision to stop the bigger children going on the smaller bouncing pillow and bouncing so hard the little ones fall over. There are a limited number of animals to see in the barns and a small meet the animals session twice a day, where they did a very quick talk on each animal and included next to no information about the animals and shamelessly promoted they were selling bunnies ready to take away on the day. One of the big horses was out of it's stable having something done to it's hooves but when our 4 year old asked the lady why there was blood coming from it's foot she completely blanked her. It actually smelt like iodine soi may have been to cure an infection but to not answer her was unforgivable.

Amazing! Would be five stars but the strictness of no home brought food inside is insane. On a wet, cold and windy day, you would think they would be more lenient but no such joy. They don't provide salt and sugar free food for children staying off that so there isn't really an option for everyone either.
