Meticulously clean. Amazing for food with great offers. Always busy as a great reputation. The outside area also lovely and well looked after. My daughter is obsessed with the beautiful toilets and we don't even live on the island!! Always return.Service: 5/5
Lovely little pub/restaurant. Just stopped here for a coffee and bite to eat before we travel by ferry back to Portsmouth. Delicious breakfast as pictured. Very good prices for local quality food!
Yet another excellent 5 night stay here. Very reasonable rate too. Breakfast superb. Meals taken here were all of a high standard with no complaints. Staff friendly and helpful. NOTHING is too much trouble for ANY of them.
The fish n chips were good quality and well-cooked, though portions are more light-bite sized than I expected for mains. The soup was tasty but small for £7. Total for one soup, two fish n chips and two soft drinks was £50
A beautifully quiet spot despite being right next door to the ferry service to the mainland. We sat outside in glorious late October sunshine and the ferries came and went seemingly without making any noise. Goddards beer was excellent. The crab baguette good - was expecting something a little more French and crusty but I'm nit picking. Will be back to pop in when waiting for a ferry.
Had fish and chips for lunch, chips were really hot crunchy and soft in the middle. Delicious, fish batter was also tasty and crisp. Followed this with apple crumble and custard. Also delicious and very filling,
Took the grandparents out here for Sunday lunch and had a really lovely time. The food was good, not outstanding but very good and the service was exemplary. I rebooked on the day for mothering Sunday and I'm sure we'll have another wonderful experience. I'd highly recommend it, especially if you're waiting for the wightlink ferry. Food & drinks: We mostly had the Sunday roast which was nicely presented. There wasn't enough gravy but they bought more as soon as we asked.
I'd put 0 stars if I could. Seems not to like tourist very much... Paid almost £15 for a raw baguette. Service was horrible. The skinny gentleman that seemed the manager, or working there for so many years, was so so rude shouting at us because we didn't realise we couldn't get inside the bar with a pet without asking... We'd have been better of going to the ferry café, would have been same quality, with much better service, and for a quarter of the price
Had drinks only... for my partner choice of ales good, and I had wine. Very clean and toilets great. A party of guys seemed to slow down the kitchen and I noticed 2 tables waited quite long for their order, although the waitress did warn them of the wait. The restaurant was not full...other than the group, 4 ish tables with another 7-8 tables vacant. Open WiFi available, which had a quick connection. Friendly staff.
The fishbourne inn was a great stay and amazing breakfast. Sarah and Chanel were fantastic on the bar and great customer service skills. Paula was brilliant and always went the extra mile to help us. Food was great aswell, couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend.
