Fush Wigram served up some truly tasty dishes, cooked to perfection. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, leaving my taste buds begging for more. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant Food: 4/5
Real good fish and Chios here. Had dinner here on Sunday. It was primo, best fish n chips in CHC at least one of them. However there are 2 things bumping my overall review to 4 stars: 1 Prices are insane for the meals. Prices could be reduced to be slightly more reasonable. 2 Eaten from their food truck and they only serve their shoestring fries and crumbed fish along with chicken and cauliflower. I told a worker he should propose putting the chunky fries and battered fish on the menu for the food truck.
Great service and delicious food! The sauces are amazing paired with the best boneless chicken I've ever had. Gluten free options too. Fantastic blue cod.
Great food, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere. Feels modern and nostalgic at the same time. The touches of Te Reo were very nice too. Will definitely be returning. Sorry I had already eaten some of the chips lol
Delicious vegetarian Burger and thick cut chips were fried perfectly. Drove from Auckland for this meal and it did not disappoint! Wish they had a branch in Auckland.Food: 5/5
I love Fush! I order it almost weekly via your online ordering facilities and your delivery team are always super friendly! My one and only suggestion would be that when online ordering I would love if there was the option to remove the slaw from the order. I always end up putting my name on the order starting as 'no slaw please' - but sometimes this is missed and I still get the slaw not a healthy food fan ha. Outside of that keep up the awesome service and delicious kai.
Always a great food experience- we tried the new fish cakes tonight as well as the fish burger instead of our usual order and were extremely happy. The garlic aioli is always an hit, and the chicken tenders are some of the best gluten free chicken we have had in Christchurch. Our favourite food in Wigram hands down. Kid-friendliness: The seperate kids meals are a great size and really popular in our household. Dietary restrictions: Fabulous gluten free options with a seperate fryer and no scrimping on portion size!
Last night we placed a largish takeaway order with Fush for a family get together. We'd never been here before and its the most expensive Fish and Chips I have ever ordered, so expectations were high! They did not disappoint. Right from the start, using their online ordering system was excellent – this is my field of expertise and appreciate the effort that's gone into creating a frictionless, aesthetically pleasing UI. The service was outstanding, the young people out front were friendly and obliging and it was lovely to hear them speaking Te Reo amongst themselves even though I don't speak it myself, I still like hearing it, particularly in the younger generations. The food itself was delicious, absolute restaurant quality and completely deserving of the price ticket. They even had a gluten free option for the couple of people in our group that often have to miss out on this kiwi classic takeaway. I cannot speak highly enough about the entire experience. Thanks guys, job very, very well done!
10 Stars. What a perfect dining experience my daughter and I enjoyed at Fush, the weather was beautiful and inducive to sitting outside and enjoying the warmth of a lovely autumn's day. The service was top notch, I gather we were looked after by the owner, and if it wasn't him, then this person's salary should be quadrupled. The quality of the food was certainly matched by his knowledge and passion for his product, his commitment to sustainable fishing and its future, not to mention his friendly and most helpful demeanour. As we don't have huge appetites we decided to share a plate of west coast fish alongside the most perfect agria potato wedges, coleslaw and delicious broccoli florets a must try. I think we may very well have managed a plate each, it was simple, perfect and uncomplicated food at its very best, exactly as it should be. Particularly loved the sauce that went with the fish. If I could score this meal, service and atmosphere a 10, then I would, so I have. Thank you Fush and the chefs, faultless and memorable. Will certainly be returning. Parking: Easy parking, pretty early in the day that we were there so that was a bonus.
Some seriously good Kai to be had here just a little dismayed at the prices. I think the burger meals are reasonably priced but the fish and chip mains are quite up there. Wonder if they still do pineapple lump wontons? No photos…I generally eat my food instead of filming it
