One of my favourite places to drink in Leicester. They've got some very inventive cocktails, friendly staff and bouncers. A nice little outside area and also an upstairs mini club. Not only that but it's open very late so you can go all night. Unfortunately food is very disappointing. I tried the enchiladas and the meat feast melt, both were awful.

Probably the most laid back and chilled bar in town. If you want to relax, Firebug is the place. Lots of big tables, big couches. As it's quite a big place it never feels too crowded in there (except for the beer garden, which gets quite rammed). I find it a really good place to go to late at night and often find myself there post 2am as a place to go to wind down before home. Good selection of drinks, always lovely people there. Not sure I have ever been there and not got into several good-humoured random chats with complete strangers - it's that kind of place. Good choice of music downstairs and often have live music upstairs on a weekend.

Great food, great prices and a quirky style. Staff are always happy to help too. Not 5 stars as I've never been to an evening thing and their toilets need... Improving

I love everything about this place, the location, the staff, the people it tends to attract and the decor? Well it's certainly given me some ideas for the coolest man cave ever. Definitely My number one favorite place to drink in Leicester and the place I miss most since I've left. If you like cocktails you need to try the Tokyo iced tea, duality, bad boy and the blueberry cheesecake one trust me when I say you'll come back for more.

Decent city centre pub and venue. Good beer choice, food not bad, supports Leicester Comedy Festival with some good performers. Frequent live music.
