I randomly find this chicken shop and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and affordability. I ordered a box of chicken and was blown away by the generous portions and delicious flavors. For just £5.5, I got a great deal! The shop is clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty and budget-friendly meal!

I have been going here for 20 years. In the past 3 months the owners of Kansas have bought this place. The old man behind the counter needs to retire bless him. Be can't handle Deliveroo, Uber, Just Eat and shop customers order coming through. I have just be charged £20 and nothing is edible. Look at the picture. You should not steal customers money like this.

Came in this food shop today at 2.30pm ordered chicken sandwich meal. Which is on a lunchtime offer and was charged full price for it. When I questioned it the man had the check to say that's for the school kids. I think you will find that kids are at school between 11am and 3pm. The food was nasty anyway I won't be ordering from here again

I went in at about 6pm and ordered a chicken fillet sandwich with chips and drink. It cost £6.60. The seseme seeded bun was fresh with mayonnaise and salad and the fillet was coated, fried and then dipped in chilli sauce. The chips were perfectly cooked and salted, all served in a carton with a chilled pepsi. My only moan was way too much mayonnaise but I will return and do this all over again as it was quite nice.

I’ve been eating here for years but today will be my last visit sadly! They no longer have their famous home made hot sauce and garlic Mayo  yet they have shop bought garlic Mayo and some weird mint “spicy” sauce which wasn’t spicy at all, would’ve been better on a lamb dinner. Gutted is an understatement. Bring back the old sauces and recipes pls

The fried chicken is decent, one of my favourite from Manchester. Oh and we have to talk about the garlic mayonnaise too, they mixed it themselves and it has the right amount of spice kick to it, just the way I like it.  Returned so many times just because of their garlic mayo game.

I had previously left a bad review due to new owners, they have since been taken over again and everything is back as it should be. The wings are back to the size they're supposed to be, and the hot sauce tastes how it's meant to. If you give up on this place, go back.

I'm really upset that the minimum review is 1 star. This place is absolutely awful. I went there asked for one of their meal which includes a chicken burger meal and 2 wings. The staff told me there is no wings while there was loads in that box of theirs. I asked him when fresh chicken fillets coming out since the last piece of fillet looked old and hard. He said they are not making new burger and a split second he brings brand new chicken out and gives it to deliveroo. Then tells me he specifically made 2 chicken fillets for the order while I seen him bring out atleast 10.. Why lie? If I'm paying for food I'd like it to be warm and fresh.  Staff is very rude and unprofessional.

Every British neighborhood has a staple chicken shop. This is what withington has to offer. Staff are safe AF even though the shop doesn't look like some 5 star establishment they make it up in cheap decent chicken. If you're paying £3.80 for a chicken wrap with chips and a can you shouldn't complain. It's worth the price. Well done boys
