A beautiful traditional stone built cottage, in the centre of the charming town of Pitlochry, Fern Cottage Restaurant has oodles of charm and character.We warmly welcome you to Fern Cottage and hope you enjoy your meal with us!

All our dishes are freshly cooked when you order and we source as much as we possibly can from our local suppliers who deliver every day to help us give you the best of Scottish ingredients.

Our Front of House Team will be able to organise any specific requests for any occasion or would like to add a personal touch to your reservation. All our food is freshly cooked when you make your choice.

Great relaxing dinner. A group of four of us had a bottle of Merlot, lamb shank, fish and chips, and salmon for the main course. We had to try the haggies, neeps and tatties for the experience and it was surprisingly pleasant. For dessert we had tiramisu and toffe pudding. All were great. I’m not a big tiramisu fan but the rest of the group loved it.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Everything fresh local ingredients and prepared with a unique style. We had the 3-way salmon, venison and tiramisu. Great for special events. Reservations suggested since it is always busy.
Very tasty ‘Big Boy’ sandwich, far beyond my expectations!!nBest sandwich in my life :D Would definitely come back again next time when I visit this lovely town.
Never had such a good meal with such good service so quickly. Just wish we were more local. Anna was a charming waitress.
