We went to eat lunch in their on-site cafe. They have an extensive selection of hot & cold food; home-made cakes & cheesecakes; quiches etc. They have daily specials plus a kids menu. I had a goats cheese frittata with salad while my family all had fresh Brixham crab sandwiches. There are several seating areas including an outside woodland area. There is a separate outside area if you have brought your dog with you. There are also some swings for the kids. In addition to plants garden furniture & BBQ equipment there shop sells a diverse range of products. There is a food store selling fresh & dried food, alcohol & soft drinks. They sell a wide range of greetings cards, ornaments & books. They have a huge free customer car park with plenty of disabled spaces.
It's a showery Saturday afternoon. The cafe shuts at 3 so it's only a coffee and Sencha green tea. The food though, looks delicious and heathy. Another time, I'd say.
Great for all kinds of things garden and outdoor things, bought a nice pot and a selection of carnivorous plants. Had lovely lunch as well
Nice garden centre to visit. Plenty of parking at front entrance. The inside seems quite tight & compact for moving around as they have alot in there ranging from cards,ornaments,children's toys etc. There is an artisan/deli food area-no dogs allowed in this space and an indoor cafe. Outside is a good array of pots and plants & shrubs. Nice place to while away couple of hours come rain or shine.
What a great Garden centre from someone who is not a great gardening fan, but my wife is. Some great bargains and all the stock looked well kept. We also ate in the cafe, the selection of food and its freshness is superb. Really enjoyed my omelette, only here for a week but will be back....
Went for lunch with a friend recently. The food was terrific, I had proper home made soup and my friend had a pork baguette with plenty of salad. She took half of it home as the serving was quite generous. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
A very nice garden centre with good produce. The additional butchers and florists are always busy and are a great advantage! The cafe has had a much needed refurbishment in the last few years and it's a real joy to visit.
A huge selection of products for the garden and a wonderful selection of great foods and beverages to purchase too. The customer service staff are always really helpful and friendly. I will definitely shop here again.
Wandered round looking at Christmas decorations, etc. Had a drink and cake in the cafe. Delicious food.
Visited mainly for the Cafe. Excellent quality if food at a fair price. We arrived about 13.30 and was very busy. Food was served in about 20 minutes.
