Great course and the pro shop staff were brilliant at explaining the course layout as it was the first time I’ve visited. The course is quite hilly so worth getting a buggy if this is an issue for you.
With a beautiful day forecast, we looked around and booked here. At the ProShop we were greeted by a very friendly staff member and a member, who were both happy to share their course with us. We took a couple of trolleys pull carts for our round and were glad we did! We were warned that the first three holes were all uphill, and the warning was warranted. By the end of hole three, however, you could start seeing some of the great views but more great views and holes were to follow. Even though we were basically at the top of the hill, there was still quite a bit of up and down. On the nice day we had, you could see in all directions. Stunning. The holes were all unique - there were no two holes that seemed alike. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens were all in very good shape, though the greens were a bit slow. There were a few holes that some local knowledge would have helped, but if you have a good GPS or a good golf app, you should be able to avoid the major problems. Regardless, balls hit too long, too right or too left will probably be lost in the deep, thick rough. The last hole was a bit of downhill reward that you can look forward to walking. Overall, it was a great golf challenge on a very nice course with some great views at a very reasonable price. It's hard to ask for more!
Played here August 23 on a sunny evening. Without a doubt one of the most stunning courses I’ve ever played. When you consider £20 green fee it was almost tragic that we were the only ones out there. A true hidden gem
What a course, the hardest hit under 6000 yards. Views are incredible. Some stunning holes. 4th is my favourite. Hard par 3.
Nice course, challenging but interesting.nUnfortunately when we went on a Monday the clubhouse was shut and a lot of the greens were spiked.nAlso very reasonably priced round of golf.
