Great business place, really helpful knowledgable, cheerful staff from the front desk to yard guys and also delivery drivers. Great service. Good stock of all timber and fencing supplies. Loads of parking. Can't fault our experiences dealing with them.
My experience here was appalling. Two macho, rude & intimidating yard staff who reacted like spoilt children when I refused to take the twisted & warped timber that they were loading onto my truck. I had paid a lot of money for the product & wanted decent timber but, because of that, was accused by one of them of shouting at them, which I certainly didn’t & also telling them how to do their job, which I also didn’t… but actually someone needs to educate them on how to interact with customers. It’s not about the yardmen feel good about themselves by being macho, it should be about making customers feel comfortable. After aggressively confronting me in a very intimidating way, this member of staff then refused to do anything else & childishly stomped off whilst the other sat silently & moodily watching me load the truck myself. At one stage he started playing loud rock music presumably to intimidate me further. I have had a lot of experience with building merchants staff & found them to be friendly & helpful but this experience was totally intimidating & an absolutely pathetic display of rudeness & machismo from the two yard staff. The days of being rude to customers are long past for most building suppliers, this obviously isn’t the case for two of the macho yardmen at the Yeovil Fencing Centre, Lynx Road, Yeovil.
What a breath of fresh air! These guys make life easy just when you need it. Great products we had total package - remove & dispose of existing summerhouse and install new including base, good price, excellent service and a pleasure to do business with. Would highly recommend this company and Bob and his colleagues. Happy days in the new summerhouse now!

Very helpful young guy helped me with sizes for edge wood panels and directed me to the office for the prices . We recently purchased a picket fence , it looks lovely and the quality is very good. Thanks Keith
