Great food stalls brilliant lady selling honey products. Bees wax candles wish I would have seen this before I bought my Christmas presents. I know where to go next time. There are some great shops and restaurants as well you will not be disappointed.
This is a bustling farmers market with a good range of stalls. The ones I like the best are the vegetable stall in the centre of the market - good quality and friendly service; Mrs Kirkham's cheese stall - top quality Lancashire cheese with knowledgeable staff and the plant stall - good range of quality plants with helpful service. I have knocked a star off as some of the stalls I like no longer go
Great collection of stalls with excellent produce. Lovely atmosphere as you stroll around taking in all the delights available. In particular GO GO DUMPLINGS, I look forward to the quality food and friendly service. Tastiest dumplings I have ever had, my family love and look forward to them each month.
Turkish / Greek stand is overpriced and sells you Tesco/Asda olives and wraps for 4 times price, and seller is aggressive, shouldn’t be in the local market. It’s a good local market except this stand.
The first time I've been. Pleased that there were many vegan/plant based stalls and options. I'll be back! Small, but recommended.
It's nice to walk around seeing different foods
Quite a small market, lots of lovely cheeses, chutneys, breads and chocolates! There were fresh vegetables and fruit on offer and a lovely selection of plants. A lot of this market is cash only and I was given a euro in my change instead of a pound coin which I didn't realise until I got home, quite cheeky really.
Always great produce from local independents. Nice atmosphere, friendly environment & a host of great independent places to have cake & coffee, breakfast or lunch nearby
I just love come here every month.
Great produce from meat, pies, vegetables, sweets, treats and local crafts.
