We come here once a year for a family meal. I enjoy the three course buffet. (There is a good selection of starters and deserts with a carvery for lunch. They offer gluten free options). We usually have a long table for approx 25 people. The only difficulty is dependent on the location of the sun in the dining room. The walls are glass windows, which give a light and airy feel, but there are no window blinds, so if you are unfortunate enough to be sitting in the wrong place, it can become blinding. The staff give good service, the food is very good, it's meticulously clean and has nice clean toilets.

Stayed here for a work conference. Nice venue. Food was a little below par - breakfast was nice, but dinner was a little hit or miss: first night's roast was nice, but second night's burger was pretty bad. Room was ok, but a little dated (carpets were stained) but, given it was winter, I appreciated the very powerful radiators!! The venue itself was very imposing, with nice alpine gardens - great to wonder around. I would definitely return.

This place is simply magical. Was there for my brother's wedding and it was a fairy tale. So glad I went. Just back back a few days ago and it still feels surreal.

Lovely grounds and building. Well stocked bar with friendly & helpful staff. Food was good but not great. Still, it was a big Christmas event and with so many covers coming out at once it was always going to push the kitchen to the limit. I would recommend Fanhams Hall though, it is a lovely venue
