Very disappointed by the play park and wading pool from a safety perspective :-nThe wading pool has blocks with very sharp edges and corners. A child could easily fall against one and incur significant damage.nThere is no effective means in place to segregate small children from the more dangerous aspects of the climbing apparatus. My 3-year old charge was able to easily get to a spot with a wide open 5 foot drop. Local ? children barged into the play area at high speed on their bikes with no regard for the younger occupants.nThe operator had not effectively assessed or mitigated the risks of this play area.
Great and only £15 if you want to stay day & night!. The Falkirk Wheel is a great family day out with lots of activities but there is also a massive range of walking either along the canal to The Kelpies or a lovely woodland walk to The Antonine Wall & Rough Castle Roman remains not many remains but the site is beautiful and interesting. There is also a cycle single track route in the forest. Extremely well done attraction with friendly & helpful staff. We stayed 3 nights for lots of lovely walking.
it's 3.50 for an all day ticket and its a car park, a short walking distance, downhill to Wheel. Not much more to say
You have to pay to park here. If you park on the opposite side of the canal its free and only a few minutes walk over the bridge.
Absolutely stunning! Parking overnight to see it lit up!! Wonderful
