It was "a find" 30 years ago -- and it manages to remain a revelation in 2017. Wonderful owner provides a friendly (and even witty: a large toy electric train shuttles to and fro above the books) "library" experience. The range of books is _astounding_ and that of valuable and long-cherished old magazines and partworks is mind-blowing! (Okay, so they are not just old!) The wonderful parade of shops allows you to grab a cuppa, refresh -- and get back to browsing! As more and more bookshops close, I am not exaggerating in claiming this to be one of my Top Five calls when visiting the UK and London.
