Ordered a falafel salad with homous for lunch circa 1pm. Took 3-4 minutes, and tasted fresh and good, also came with a lemon & mint drink. Place was busy and everyone seemed happy - nice seating by the store.Food: 5/5
I ordered a takeout, a portion of falafel on pitta bread, and yes, it is the best in town. The hummus tasted freshly made, and the falafel was prepared to order. Pitta bread was super soft as well. I spoke to the staff, and she mentioned they are baked daily at a bakery, so that explains why they’re so soft. Very yummy Vegetarian options: The menu is all vegetarian!
Simple delicious falafels, cooked to perfection by the owner who cares about his food. Sure, you may have to wait but definitely worth the wait. My tip, arrive early and save to eat later.Food: 5/5
This Sudanese falafel is the best falafel I ever had. The sandwich is big, stuffed, and filling; I enjoyed every single bite.Food: 5/5
The blandest worst falafel I have ever had. Just went in after wanted to try this place for ages as I live in the area. The set up was so strange with the food and other sauces in bowls on top of a table with barely any options to add in. Then the pita bread wasn’t even fresh just straight out of their bags which they had on display. I payed £9 for this! Literally bland as hell. Just go over the road to the falafel cart or to the Palestinian cafe down the road called Maramia which has the best and most authentic falafel you will have. Awful place.
So, check what time the business opens on a Sunday. On Google it states 12pm. I walk past at 12.30 and it’s still not open. I saw a man walk towards the door and get turned away. He told me they open in 10/15 minutes. I walked through portobello with my son and wasted my time. Please if it doesn’t open at 12 then don’t advertise it as doing so.
I used to love this place when it was further down the road closer to Portobello market and I was gutted when I found out it was closed. It was only recently that I discovered they were still open but at a different location. Hands down this is the best falafel in London! They are soft, well cooked and not dry which so many others are and the homemade hummus is just delicious. This place does simple falafel very well. And the fresh juice you get is so tasty. I love it here
Not been for a while now but has always been my go to for Falafel in London. If you're a falafel fan, please visit. You will not be disappointed!Food: 5/5
Worst experience ever. Went yesterday, the staff were so rude and unprofessional. I have never experienced such awful customer service. They have such a superiority complex and treated us as if we were making their lives difficult by being there…. I could go on about the horrible workers but I would be here for hours. The portion is tiny and the food is not authentic falafel at all. Would not recommend at all, if anything I would urge everyone to stay away. Go to an actual Palestinian or Lebanese restaurant if you want authentic Falafel.
Note* "israeli" falafel, and not the authentic palestinian/lebanese These guys have lost the plot, charging £9 for the SMALLEST falafel sandwich I've ever had. And they act like the hummus is gold dust. Mate it is £2 for a tub in the shop. Don't support these kind of people they are straight up ripping you off and taking you for fools. Oh but because they give you some water and a squeeze of lemon it's worth it? What a joke lol. Drop your price and customers will return.
