This is a review for the restaurant at Fairways. I was invited here by my friends for breakfast. At the time of visit we were still doing track and trace. There is plenty space in the restaurant. I ordered the full Scottish breakfast and what a helping you get. There is also options for toast and tea or fruit juice if you wish. It was a lovely breakfast and it was a quick service too. We were leaving just as it was filling up for early lunch time. I was needing a good walk as I was extremely full.
Nice venue with welcoming wait staff, well set and clean dining area. Food was delivered quickly and well cooked. Negatives: View looks out under rusty iron stairs. Only one alcohol free drink option Magners. Overall pleasant experience, would reccomend.
Forgot to take pics! But I had steak and ale pie.. delicious! My mum had roast of the day beef, which she loved, then we shared banoffee pie. Lovely food and great service. Good for parking. Will definitely be back
We had a cracking couple of rounds, great course as not the longest so as it was my first time golfing in over 20 years it was just perfect. Shop staff friendly and knowledgeable as were the bar staff lovely to talk to aswell. We didn't eat and sat outside with our drinks, but it sure did smell good..well be back.. Visited on 15th for Sunday Carvery. What a feed we had great choice of meat and veg and then a huge selection of puddings just to ensure I didn't need to eat again that day..
Not as good as last time i was there. Chips looked bad and didn't taste good no dessert menu had to go up and look at the counter to see selection. Maybe just a bad day I'll give it another try soon.
The food was great, but the service was terrible. Lots of young girls that were not interested at all to busy chatting to serve us we were about 40 minutes before we got our food order taken & that's only because I stuck my hand up to grab there attention even though we were sat right in front of them all, will not be going back till the service improves. But the food was good.
Superb food and service.
9 hole course is good for beginners, but don't expect anything like the standard of other courses in the area. Pro shop is excellent though, and the young lad there was very helpful and pleasant.
All staff in pro shop are knowledgable, helpful and frindly
Nice treat for my birthday, went to fairways,great food friendly staff nice clean restaurant be going back 10 out of 10 from me.
