It's a catch 22 thing. They don't have many customers so they don't precook much, and people don't go much because they have to wait for ages to get anything. The fish is tasty and massive though. The chicken, when it's rarely available, is way over cooked and dry. Other than that the fish and chips are delicious.

Went in today for the first time. Was on my break for lunch so was feeling hungry. The guy that served me was polite, patient and offered a good portion of a very well made fish and chips. I’d like to try more options of the menu. Thank you
I read the reviews after I had ordered so feared the worst. Came within acceptable time via uber, chips were chewy on the outside which for me wasn't unpleasant. Sausage was nice and to my taste. Portions were fine, packaged fine. I wouldn't not recommend, but I probably wouldn't recommend either. It was fine I've had better but definitely had worse.
Whilst the food is lovely & tasty, fair prices too. If u order from here be prepared to wait for ur food. We ordered on Sunday 14th for our tea as a bit of a treat, I put the order in at around 6.30pm, & was quoted the arrival time between 7.20pm-7.40pm, already over an hour. We ended up receiving our food at 9pm, no apology for making us wait or anything, & the food was cold when we got it. I cant see me using this fish bar again, as 2 1/2 hours is pushing it somewhat. If this is how they treat their paying customers, I'm surprised they can stay in buisness. Wont be ordering from here again. Very unhappy customer.
Deadful. I would never order again. 0 is too high. It took 2 hours to deliver a basic order. I phoned 3 times and each time it was 5 mins away. The quality was very disappointing. Don’t order order if you want it within an hour of order. Wouldn’t recommend at all. They put the phone down on me last time I called. Rude, poor quality and late - what else can I say. You deserve better.
Always good food. Yes you can wait a few minutes but you always know its fresh. They even do glutin free on Tuesdays. The portions are really good and they are fairly priced and we always feel fully satisfied. The staff are fab and friendly. What more do you want from your local chip shop.
Ordered food at 8:45pm was told it had left at 9:30pm it didn't show up so why lie and say it was sent !
Fresh fish and chips - Don't tend to precook much food but means everything you get it always piping hot and delicious. Big portions and very reasonably priced.
if i could give 0 stars i would!! What an awful experience. 2.5 hours wait for food - called 5 times to be told it was on its way. When the food arrived, food was missing, portions were tiny, food was luke warm and when we called back they hung up. DO NOT USE!
