What a friendly golf club.128 bunkers but great course to play.Would highly recommend playing here.Shot an 81 on my first round.The greens were a little slow but I think they were being protected for their club finals day this week end.Will definitely be back

Played invitation day. Course in terrific condition. Best bit is the catering. At short notice produced a terrific vegetarian breakfast and lunch. Amazing and thanks!
Very good golf club, good meal there too.
This course should never be considered as a poor relation to Royal Lytham. A gem in its own right. We played on a sunny windless day at the end of March so the course didn't really bare it's teeth with forgiving rough and great greens. Because of the time of year, before the grass has started to grow, the fairways were slick and challenging to play off but we will definitely be back. Iconic clubhouse with great views over the course. Check out the history board at the main entrance
Great range of buffet food on offer following the funeral of a former club captain Brian Nicholson. Sad occasion but bar and waiting on staff were excellent. Buffet food catered for all tastes. A pleasant way to end an upsetting event.
Fantastic course conditions and excellent clubhouse.
Typical links course if you like bump and runs upto the flag. Near impossible to flight the ball to stop and spin back. No memorable holes. Relatively flat with LOADS of bunkers. STAY ON THE FAIRWAY.
Got to be one of the best opens on the circuit. Great course, wholly perfect experience.
