You can return parcels via Evri here, simple and easy to use. I have to agree the owner was quite unpleasant, from reading his replies to other reviews he seems to despise the parcel return service. If this is the case and it makes you rude to potential customers then perhaps don't offer the service...
Harry the owner is an absolute jackass and lacks basic customer service and human compassion. Only visit if you want to be supporting a vile man's business. He refused to serve me, clearly forgetting I wasn't even doing business in his shop, I was doing business Evri ... He has no choice than to do what he's contracted to do when he accepted to have Evri in his store. If I was buying gum or water then he can refuse to serve me, I'm doing business with Evri ... NOT HIM.
Cool shop. But some of the responses to the reviews are a bit overkill and the owner needs to calm down and accept they made mistakes. Accusing people of racism because they gave you a bad review isn’t something many will appreciate.
Been shopping here for the past 9 months. Never had any issues. Surprised to read some of the negative reviews. Owner’s always been polite and friendly to me. They have a great collection of salads and hummus.
Very unhelpful people. Came to return a parcel, clearly under this shop it was written that the label can be printed there but the person was very unhelpful, served all the people came after us then came and said wont print the label there and also won’t accept our parcel because it was too big. We saw bigger parcels than ours sitting there.
tbh this is one of the best shops ive been to, great staff and the stuff there is great, i dont understand why some people are so rude in the reviews
I went to this shop to return a Hermes parcel for the first time. I was met with very rude and unhelpful service from the gentleman on the till when trying to drop off the parcel. As it was my first time, I was unsure about the procedure and wasn't even sure if the shop provided the service but the gentleman on the till was extremely impatient and dismissive of me. He was very curt with his responses to my questions which I asked politely and was condescending asking whether I even knew what to do or whether I read the instructions which I had. I feel that if you take up the responsibility of the Hermes returns service, you should expect that some people would never have done this before and be more patient and understanding with them instead of rude and dismissive. I also feel that as this is a recurring thing as seen by the negative reviews below by various different people, that this is an actual serious issue with the customer service. I would recommend that no one uses this shop for Hermes parcels returns because of my experience and I certainly will never go there again unless the customer service improves. I would also ask the owner to please be more courteous and respectful to customers who aren't sure about the procedure of returns and just be more understanding about this.
Wonderful shop. Owner very knowledgeable about Amazon returns process. Helped me with my return, exchange made so easy. His shop is well stocked and owned by an expert customer service person. What more could one ask for?
Minimum spend of £5 plus 20p charge for using a card? Firstly charging for card transactions is illegal and this will be reported to trading standards and secondly not everyone uses cash these days so the owners are going to miss out on a lot of trade.
Miserable and unhelpful. Went to return a parcel, didn't have my glasses so could barely see the screen because of the way it was positioned actually couldn't find the machine at first because he just waved his hand and said over there. Had to ask a different member of staff where it was. Then asked for help from the guy who was behind the till he said to go Tesco express instead as there it wasn't self service??! Hello I'm in your shop now with a parcel just wanting a bit of assistance......still no movement, anyway did it myself in the end. Such bad customer service.
