When I was a student this school there was constant fights and they wouldn't even look into why it would happen or anything they would just take the students side that they like more. When rumours go around u report it they just ask you to stop spreading it around and apparently then it's all solved. This school isn't safe this girl got hitted and was bleeding she then tried to jump off the bridge they didn't really do anything about it which is disgraceful when that girl was suffering. They didn't end up giving the girl that hit her any punishments and they went on like nothing ahppend. Boys can wear what they want most of the time but girls get picked up for the tiniest bit of makeup that is hardly noticeable
terrible school, has a massive bullying problem with teachers not paying any attention to it because they are too concerned with the uniform someone is wearing. no way to communicate issues with teachers without everyone else in the school knowing about you doing it and constant testing causing stress, more punishment for reacting to bullying than if you bully someone.
Uncontrolled and ignored bullying. Unresponsive to phone calls . The 'Emo' teacher that regularly drives through puddles splashing pupils just about sums up the schools attitude.
How disgraceful that you can punish a child just for expressing himself with his hairstyle, how dare you think that it is acceptable to stamp out someone's heritage, you just aren't allowed to! You would be sued if that child had heritage from certain parts of the world so to not allow that child just because it looks on face value that he doesn't is shameful! Luckily my boy goes to much more understanding and expressive school who I might add have an outstanding rating from offset and is seen as one of the best top 2 schools in my area
Certainly won't be working there. The SLT must be awful if kids are isolated over their hair. Maybe you could focus on building relationships. Have you read 'When the adult changes..'? Looks like it's the turn of your lot to do some reflection,before pertaining to know what's best for students.
This school fails kids on every aspect. The statistics speek for themselves. Under qualified teachers. Head teacher making profit from school uniforms. How this school is aloud to safeguard children is beyond me Theirs an Irish lady who's supposed in charge of child's welfare who is a danger to children she's a liar and the evidence is their for all to see covering up mispractice bending the truth to avoid looking bad what a poor ecscuse for a woman stealing from the state with children in danfer
Not been to this school but went through the same thing in my school concerning hair styles. Shocking! to isolate a child for having plaits. If it doesn't affect their school work then leave them wear or style their hair as they please.
wouldn’t recommend… go to this school if you don’t want a good career when your older.
On my first day i went into the toilet and there was 4 year elevens in there and they intimated me and scared me so i locked my self in the toilet but then they started bashing the door down and i was really scared so i waited there until they eventually left then i was able to go to the toilet. Overall not a nice school and bullying is a big problem and the teachers do nothing about it and it is very upsetting
Kids should be able to have any hairstyle they please, your school rules are absolutely ridiculous. The only parts of the body that should be apart of a uniform is from the neck down.
