Ev is a hidden gem in London's Southwark, neatly tucked away under the railway arches, those who stumble upon can't resist but feel they've discovered something, special.

Ev means "home", in Turkish. Offering the best off all that Anatolia has to offer.

Grilled lamb steak was nice - tasted good and was tender. Prawns were also good. The lamb shank was falling off the bone but it was lacking flavour. The food was okay but compared to other Turkish restaurants I’ve been to, I was a little underwhelmed and kind of wished I’d gone to one of those sorry. The cocktails were lovely though and our waiter was attentive. My companion asked if they could make me some sort of traditional cocktail and they did, which was lovely. Not many people eating at the restaurant when we visited so very quiet.
Delicious Turkish food with spectacular ambience. My wife and I shared the Domates Soslu Kofte, Zeytinli Salata, Hellim and Acokadolu Ispanak Salatasi. Everything was amazing and along with the quiet low rumbling of the train overhead made for a very pleasant experience. I absolutely recommend this restaurant and will definitely return next time we are in London.

Wondering atmosphere rustic feel, great service, waiter was enthusiastic about food served there and patiently explained everything to us and gave a few recommendations which turned out to be delicious. There's also a tv which is always nice. Had a lovely meal and will definitely return! Only thing is the food isn't cheap not very expensive but if you're saving up it might help going less often, but you definitely get what you pay for. Ingredients are clearly fresh and food well cooked.
Stunning hidden greenery setting under the railway arches. Solidly delicious food. Service can be slow if you come during busy hours. Visit the cafe for delicious inexpensive bites or the restaurant if you feel like eating a heartier meal. Great small plates for sharing! This spot is def worth a visitFood: 4/5
The amount of appetizers sold was definitely too little for this price. It was also the worst dolma I have ever had in my life. Although it was written on the menu that the dolma contains sultanas and herb spices, there was only mushy rice inside. And the Iskender was not like the usual Iskender, but I can't complain since they mentioned this on the menu, but it would have been much better if it was classic Iskender.
Was lucky to catch a Euro 2024 knockout game here. Place was full of Turkish supporters which added to the vibe!Service: 4/5
Beautifully decorated, excellent service, food very good. A big restaurant well looked after for the staff members. Just next door they have got a large room for parties not compromising the nice atmosphere of the restaurant. Easy access for wheelchairs. Only 10 minutes away from Waterloo Station. As I was in a hurry to catch the train I decided to do a take away & they game me a nice pot & bag. Today was part of my lunch and was delicious Will go back for more Vegetarian options: Plenty of delicious food in the menu Dietary restrictions: Shown on the front of the menu Kid-friendliness: A couple of family where enjoying their meal at the restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: Inside & outside easily accessible for wheelchairs

We booked a table for sixteen and on arrival the friendly staff made us comfy and explained the service for the night. We sat in a good part of the restaurant and was attended to with good service. The food was spot on. We would easily go here again!Food: 5/5
