Today I popped into this place and wanted to receive a money through western union.After showing my MTC number and they confirmed the receiver identity, they told me that I should give them the sender last name I told them the full name of the money sender and yet they refused to hand me the cash which was very weird experience. If you want to transfer or receive a cash through WU try to find an other place to do this. I will never come back again and hope that would make them happy. A complain have already been filed to WU regarding this sale point.
If I could leave a zero star review, I would. Be prepared for a police interrogation as soon as you walk through the door. You will need an archive of documents ready to present before they consider converting your money. I wanted to convert some money and they asked for 2 proofs of ID, 3 month bank statement, flight confirmation and the address where I was going to stay abroad. After then trying to convert a measly £100 I was told “I know your end goal is to convert all of those pounds into euros, so I can’t even let you convert £100”, so if you have to make an emergency travel don’t bother coming here. My dad went in to convert £200 and he was done in a minute, no questions asked. I asked him “How did you do that?” and he said he gave them a smile and that’s it. What the hell is going on with eurochange.
Having received poor service at a rival outfit further up the same road, I was pleasantly surprised with how helpful the staff are here. It's a tiny shop with usually just one member of staff, but they are so efficient that I didn't have to wait long to get to the front. The rates are good and there is good advice too.
Very unhelpful .. needed to change 230 Euros into Sterling, only had 5 x 50 Euro notes, wanted to give 20 Euros to my daughter going on a school trip tomorrow .. clerk refused to conduct transaction as they don't give change out !!!!!!! Poor service, and the request wasn't unreasonable. Never again ...
"Hands down" the best on the high Street. The rate are good and the customer service is excellent. The staff are helpful, kind and fun... so even if it's only one lady I think it is worth the wait. #PatienceIsVirtue
Ordered money online, picked it the next day. They said ready by 1pm it was ready before 11am. Excellent service provided instore by the member of staff. Thanks
Disappointed with their services. Inefficient, incompetent and insufficient staff. Wasted my 50 minutes just for a single and simple transaction. Won't go there again.
Excellent rates for currency exchange. Very good availability of different currencies to collect on the day. Good staff.
Closed at least 15 minutes early on saturday afternoon. Staff can't be arsed. Wasted journey.
