Exactly what you would expect. Great beach Cafe with some amazing cakes. We had breakfast rolls and Late. So nice to have the Late in mugs and not tall glasses. Stays hot longer and much better out of a mug. Very polite and helpful staff. It was packed so a short wait for food but we walked in at just the wrong time and had the last table. The staff coped well and the sausage and bacon and eggs was very nice.
Ettrick bay is a fabulous beach even on a duller day. The tea room doesn't look much from the outside but don't be put off. Good selection of snacks and main meals with a special board as well. One of my companions described the Blt sandwich as the best ever. Freshly prepared food and fast friendly service, well worth a visit Parking: Parking available in small carpark and along the beachfront Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level
Excellent service. There was a problem with the coffee machine when we first ordered our coffee's but the lady said come back in 10mins. However she actually brought them out to us on the beach! Hows that for service, and the coffees tasted great! In a most beautiful location.
Most wonderful selection of cakes you could ever wish for. I chose the Lemon Meringue cheesecake and it didn't disappoint. Sorry about the bite, I couldn't wait. The beach is beautiful and the weather was gorgeous

No frill food but very tasty and pretty good value for money. Staff all very friendly and accommodating Only downside is the interior of the cafe is in need of a refresh and in particular the toilets as they are quite run down looking. If you are lucky enough to be there when the weather is nice, there is a large seating area with tables outside. Kid-friendliness: kids meals and a play area for kids. Parking: plenty of parking in car park
Nice little cafe overlooking the water front. Food was good, although the desert looked better than it tasted.
Always one of our first stops when on the island. Great food at reasonable prices and friendly staff. Oh and theres the small matter of the view....simply beautiful. Kid-friendliness: The team are always very good with our kids. Taking the time out to talk to them and make everyone of us feel very welcome.
