I bought a Groupon voucher for a facial, back massage and scalp massage. I was delighted with both the service and standard of treatments I received. Caroline was extremely thorough in her approach and clearly explained which products she was using and why. Cannot wait for my next treatment! Than you!

"Essential Spa" Beauty Salon in L.A. Fitness in Manchester is an experience to avoid it. Caroline Tinker is rude and un cooperative. When her customers try to reason with her she acts patronising and she has a boorish behaviour. Hell hell hath no fury when a client turns up a bit late on her Beauty Salon you will come across the most vulgar behaviour I have ever encountered in a person. And from what I heard on my way out from one of the member of the staff in there, even she did not get the full 45minute facial as advertised nor the full 30 minute back massage. Awful experience I had with this Beauty salon.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS In August 2013 I purchased on Groupon a deal of £29 for a Facial and Massage at the Essential Spa Salon in Manchester City Centre. On the deal it said that I would recieve a 75minute facial and a 30minute back massage and a scalp massage using Indian Head Techniques. I booked my appointment for Thursday 5th September at 12noon and arrived at 11.55am. The salon was running behind schedule and as a result I did not go through fo rmy treatment until 12.30pm, and it finished at 1.23pm!! This means that I did not get the full 45minute facial as advertised nor the full 30 minute back massage as my total treatment time should have taken 75minutes not less than 60!! Also, the therapist did not give me the scalp massage using Indian Head techniques as promised on the deal. I am very upset and disappointed as a result of not having my full allocated treatment time and treatments offered. When I spoke with the Manager and owner Ms Caroline Tinker she was rude and un-coperative and also blatantly lied to me which is disrespectful and unprofessional.

My friend and I went here after buying a pamper package through Travelzoo. We both really enjoyed it. Unfortunately however the deal clearly stated that our treatments would last 75 minutes- we went in at 1pm and were back out before 2pm. We got changed within this time too, so our treatment time was probably only 50 minutes. I didn't realise this until we were out on the street and I looked at my watch. I was quite disappointed as I had been very impressed until that point. If you go here, ensure that you get what you paid for.

I've had so many feeble massages in the past elsewhere but this one by Caroline was great. Lasted the full hour I paid for and I can happily say that it was satisfyingly forceful! Will go here again....

I ha e been going to see Caroline for a few years and I love her! She has spoilt me in that anyone else does not compare to her! The service is always great, there is always a deal and after I couldn't go for a long time for health reasons, yesterday was my first time back it was sensational! i would completely recommend to anyone! I'd never been to a spa before but really enjoyed the experience and can't wait to go again. Everything was really relaxing and pleasant from the lighting in the treatment room and the background music to the actual treatment and massage.

I have been here many times mainly for back massages and facials. Always brilliant and great value for money. Thank you Laura and Caroline.

This is a good place for a quick massage/facial. Recommended to me by a friend and would definetley visit again.
