We did the escape room at Southend as a family birthday event and it was brilliant. Our host was wonderful, kind, fun, efficient, understanding and the escape challenge itself superbly done. Very good facilities. Great for parents and grown up children and all generations would love it.
My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary and we did the magpie mystery. It was amazing! Mike was our host and he was incredibly helpful and kind for our entire visit and made the experience even better. Thank you for such a wonderful time!
What a joyful and fun experience! We've been to the Chelmsford site for this company, and loved it so tried here under their recommendation and we were not disappointed at all. Amber was very welcoming and explained everything beautifully. The room we did was challenging but highly engaging and fun. Wish we could have done another room, but we absolutely will be back to do some more!
Brilliant storyline which keeps you on your toes and searching for clues and solving puzzles. Lovely welcoming and supportive staff. They explain everything thoroughly and are always on hand for advice and clues when you’re in the room! Room 13 was perfectly creepy, puzzling and set the scene well to make the ‘deadline’ feel real and although challenging, keep the motivation going to escape! Would highly recommend! We’ll be back for more!

Had such a fantastic time at Escape Live. We did the Room 13 escape room was a great storyline, good challenge and really fun to play. Would 100% recommend this venue to anyone and would return again. Dardan in the team was such a great help and was really friendly.
Had a fantastic afternoon at Escape Room Live Southend. Eighteen of us using all three rooms. From my first contact with the venue everything went smoothly. Amber, Georgia and Rhiannon were great. Professional fun and friendly!! We had a super time and although we needed a few clues we did manage to escape!! All in all would definitely recommend!! We are all in our 60’s and 70’s so this is something for any age group. Very impressed!!
Went today and it was a great experience! I did The Magpie Mystery with a friend and the puzzles were challenging but felt really rewarding! Our Game Master was Vendela, a lovely woman who had a great understanding of the stories and health and safety. She spoke a bit fast so it was quite hard to understand some parts but not her fault at all!
We went to Escape Live today and completed successfully Pirate Plunder. It was brilliant from start to finish. Amber was really lovely and showed us the ropes to get us started and we completed the room with 2 minutes left . We’ve now completed all rooms but will definitely be booking in Chelmsford next
Absolutely brilliant, we did the Pirate one and it was so much fun. Our host Amber who ran the game was an absolute delight and we had so much fun.
