Epicure Artisan Coffee

This is a small cafe and inside it is noisy, the coffee grinding machine is extremely loud. The menu has several options to cater for different dietary preferences. They brought our orders at different times and when mine turned out to be the wrong thing, we had to wait a further 15 minutes to get the right one. I asked for a turmeric latte and specified I did not want any added sugar in it, yet they sprinkled chocolate powder on top.

For me the best thing here is the way they serve & know their tea. The pot is FULL & HOT quite unusual in my rather extensive experience, they use leaf tea but just the right amount, & best of all it comes with a 5 minute egg timer to make you wait for it to brew! If I ever get a takeaway elsewhere I now ask for the milk on the side so it can brew!!! So much better!!

Due to a misunderstanding unrelated to this place, I missed breakfast today. I wandered in and there were so many things on the menu and I was in a bit of analysis paralysis, brain fog hungry. I said something like "Can you recommend something gluten free and vegan?" A girl behind the cashier, I don't remember exactly what she said, but it felt like "I got you." She whipped me up some kind of majestic falafel vegan thing on a gluten free sourdough bread and completely saved my brain! Thank you! Highly recommend! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan!

If you’re a coffee lover, this is the place! They do all types of coffee and tea. Breakfast was nice but a little small on the portion if I was being picky, then again, it was reasonably priced.

Walked into this lovely coffee house on New Year’s Eve. It was a bit busy given that they were closing early but the staff were super friendly, it was PROPER QUALITY coffee and one of the best brownies we’ve tasted this year! Will definitely be back in 2019!

Going to Epicure has become our daily ritual. The coffee is the absolute best as is the porridge, granola bowl, almond croissant and vegan cookies. Even Alfie loves this place

Cute and small coffee house. It was full when we arrived and it was worth the wait for indoor seats! Definitely artisan, full of character and a delicious looking choice of cakes including vegan options. Sadly I didn't sample the cakes, just the lovely fresh chamomile tea, which was perfect. Maybe I'll get to try the cakes next time and then 4 will become 5 stars!!

Lovely coffee shop with salads and sandwiches, the owner is so nice and they treat you like family. Dogs welcome and free newspaper :
