Absolutely appalling service from start to finish. I would never recommend them to anyone, and my advice is if your insurance tells you to use them say no! Extremely long story as so many things went wrong however to cut a long story short make sure you do a very detailed check before you take a car from them if you’re brave enough to. We were given a car after an accident to use temporarily while ours was fixed. The car we were given was extremely dangerous to drive faulty tires with dangerously low PSI and even when telling them what was going on was told we could still drive from Kent to Wales!! Lots of other things went on with their terrible customer service and was glad when we could speak to another branch that was really lovely however most problems we had to solve ourselves as they would rather us upset than help. To the below - there is no option to reply. So I will add it here. We have already emailed you several times with detailed descriptions of everything/person we have spoken to, you have done nothing and do not do anything or look into anything. Terrible company.
A cautionary tale. When picking up your hire vehicle be sure to inspect for prior damage with a fine tooth comb. Check tyres thoroughly too and ask when the car was returned, take many pictures of the car from all angles especially the tyres. We hired a small car, but on pick up day were presented with a bigger car, which we should have thought to question why? We did a quick inspection of our vehicle in the rain and gloom whilst it was tightly parked between other vehicles making sighting the tyres difficult, but we trusted that all was in good order. However, on returning the vehicle were told it had tears in a front tyre which we were invited outside to see. Sure enough there were tears in the tyre. We definitely had not hit any kerbs etc the damage must have occurred prior to us, but we had no proof of that. Although a family member in attendance for drop off pointed out the tears looked old and not like freshly torn rubber. Lesson learned, do not trust others have completed there part of the job without human error occurring and take pictures of every angle.
I had to have a hire car through insurance, and everything went smoothly. The branch staff are really nice and professional too.
I had a hire car while my car was repaired. Enterprise contacted me and made the arrangements and booked a very similar car to mine. Before collection they contacted me again and we arranged a collection. They were very accomodating and helped me get my bank card from home as they don't take phone payments. I'm cashless and cardless most of the time now. On takeover I saw some small blemishes and was shown the card to compare them. Small stone chips etc. upto a few centimeters are nothing to worry about! : Handing the car back was earlier than anticipated so the charge was around 5% lower than when I collected. The acceptance was quick and painless and I had a bit more paperwork to complete. I was dealt with by several members of staff and all were helpful and personable. I was pleased to hand the car back though as mine is higher specification while cheaper than the nearest rival I used.

I have used the Ashford branch several time in the past few months and they’re well worth 5 stars. I always need an Auto and they have provided decent cars inside 24 hours each time. The team seems really happy and I have actually enjoyed the pick up and drop offs! A special mention to Jack and Charleen who have been a credit to the company throughout.
Grateful to the staff at Enterprise Ashford who helped me in my time of need. Each week of needing a car, they were all helpful, accommodating and attentive and I would definitely recommend their services.
Booked a rental car for 9 days whilst my own car was being repaired. My car was ready early, so off hired the car 4 days early only to be told that I will still have to pay for the full 9 days. I paid early to save time and receive discount as the website encourages you to do. No where on the confirmation does it say non refundable. I don't hire cars very often, but have never had a problem like this before.
Really helpful polite staff. When I chose to swap the very lovely Subaru I was given for a more economical car, the staff made it very easy. All sorted in less than ten minutes. Rental was organised through insurance so can't comment on price but the service has been excellent.
The hidden charges are astronomical! I needed to rent a car to move my daughter into University accommodation while my own car was being fixed. I rented a Vauxhall Corsa but was given a Fiat 500. I was told the Fiat 500 was a segment B the same as the Corsa and therefore equivalent. Complained that it wasn’t and after much discussion I was given a Nissan Juke at no extra cost. Was then told about the damage costs in that if scratched/windscreen chipped/ bumper crack would be charged £1,500 per incident!!! then was sold damage waiver insurance that took the excess down to £100 but was almost as much as the car hire! I’m not used to big cars so took the insurance. Ended up paying £495 for a car hire that I thought would cost £165! It was nice I had an upgrade for free but they should have just had a Vauxhall Corsa or another segment B car instead.
