Delicious food with friendly unobtrusive service.  Pleasant environs but a bit cold despite being offered seat by the heater

I have been visiting English's for more years than I care to remember and have never been disappointed and today was no exception. Food and wine was sublime. Trevor who looked after us was fabulous ! Great fun and really helpful. Long may this great culinary icon continue.

Fantastic food, great service, and fair prices. Lots of gluten free choices! Will definitely be back!

I have lived in Brighton for 35 years my 1st visit. Old school restaurant, good selection on the lunch set menu and extensive wine list. Service staff were faultless.
