I stayed at there for one night only.nThe room was ok but the pillows were smelly of sweating. Nowadays pillows are washables, I needed to sleep with the face towel covering the pillow.nThey charged me £45 and not even a small £0.10p toilet soap to the guest? I arrived 10pm after an exhausted business meeting. Where was I going to find a blood shop with toiletries at that time?nCome on manager, some bits make all the things different.
Beautiful grounds, if you ever wanted a lawn, orchard, and quiet conservatory in early summer, this was the perfect fit.nnThe one let down was that the towels were not washed correctly, and smelled faintly of mushrooms.nnIt's a lovely complex filled w minimal facilities in the rooms; double bed, toilet, shower great pressure, bog roll, tv, chair, sofa, dresser, suits rack, plus lots ofnspace to enjoy the nunnery architecture that came before.
Not a very big carpark for the hotel guestsnNo check-in reception as all done via email once booked you get codes to the front door then the roomnMy room was up a few flights of stairsnRoom was quite small big enough for 1 personnShower room was very big and when you sit on the toilet your legs hit the wall !nVery basic roomnBed was very comfortable though!nPeople were very noisy in the corridor and shutting doors loudly!nNo kettle in the room.nThere's a big kitchen downstairs but you have to have your own tea/coffeenShower was oknWiFi goodnBreakfast not includednNot sure if I'd stay again if there something else in the area to stay in !
Contactless stay with keypad lock main door and room key in key safe outside the door. Very clean and well presented and the grounds are amazing.nLovely place to spend a lazy weekend
A PLACE OF REAL CHARACTER.... ROOMS CLEANS, PRACTICAL AND BATHROOM VERY GOOD...... NO RECEPTION BUT NO COMPLAINTS...... USE TO BE A CONVENT THEN A SCHOOL.... IT'S BASIC BUT CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND ...... THINKING OF CERTAINLY USING AGAIN .
