Absolutely brilliant gym, I have been a member at 6 different gyms in the area and have to say this one is the best. The owner really puts an effort in and it clearly shows. Very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable management team. Very friendly atmosphere in the gym, equipment spaced out really well and is good working condition. Changing rooms are well equipped with showers and are always spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend.

Welcoming friendly family run gym. Very clean and has great facilities, the staff are friendly and helpful the equipment is modern and user friendly. If you don't like machines there are plenty of free weight too. The fitness classes are run by a very professional and enthusiastic lady. They cater for all ages and levels of fitness. If gyms intimidate into not going then empire will cure you
I pay for a monthly membership here and have found it to be the best gym around. Although it is sometimes crowded making machines unavailable, there is still many other things you can do while you wait. Classes are regularly but on by the extremely helpful and friendly staff and water is always free and available as well. There are also showers and lockers to store items while training.
Work all over the country, have to go to a different gym every week. Empire was 11 miles away from where Peterborough, so a bit of a trek, and we were dubious in going so far for what seemed a different gym. Was worth every mile. The best equipped, friendliest gym we have ever been to, after 10 years working away. Great equipment in great condition, dumbells up to 70kg. Owners and clientele are the friendliest we've come across, especially for two northern shithouses just walking in! 6 benches, which for the size was more than enough, never waiting more than a minute for anything, dumbells go up to whatever you need. Literally, the only criticisms I can give are - it's a bit out of the way but worth it, and the squat rack was being hogged every day but I'm happy for a reason to put legs off another day Just wish it was closer to home. Best gym we've been to, from Aberdeen to Jersey, in 10 years. Ta
Just joined, not done any exercise in about 30 years. This is an all inclusive gym, everybody is welcolme. Matt, Dave and Debbie make you feel like one of the family, I so look forward to going, so much so on the days I can't get there I miss it. Forget the big chains, go and have a chat at empire, once there you will see what I mean. Family run, family values, become part of the family.
Best gym in the area by far! Great equipment, great staff, great atmosphere, great value! I have trained in many gyms and most of the bigger globo gym types and Empire by far smashes them out of the water for what you get.
