Deepings Leisure Centre

I like going just one thing parents that take there children for swimming classes ,please take off your shoes when u go thro to take your child to the classes as one more plastic going into the enviroment each time you use the shoecovers ,and thos who dont use anything you are possibly increasing the chances of your little one getting foot infections from outside thankyou c dickinson

Tatty around the edges, built in the 70s and can do with an upgrade, but they are trying

Needs equipment updating, the gym requires a good clean, been a member for almost 6 months and never seen anyone cleaning the equipment, very grubby, went to gym today 3 out of 4 treadmills out of operation 😠😠😠

The facilities are slowly being upgraded but I have mixed feelings about the Deeping Leisure Centre. My kids both swim here and they've learned a lot. So from a purely educational front they're good. Their cafe is also very nice and well run, my wife and I usually have tea there each week while we wait. The lower stars are for the young staff that tend to not know what they're doing or tend to be a bit switched off. It's also because in the past their gym equipment has been poorly maintained and I've almost hurt myself there. I wouldn't use them for anything beyond the pool and empty halls so for most sports that's fine. But it could do with major funding and training which I guess is a local authority issue. The staff are kind and mean well. I just think they genuinely don't know because they've not been trained to know and aren't expected to.
