What a joke; this "company" can not be considered as an emergency service.

They cancelled on us twice then tried to re-book; needless to say we did not bother.

I phoned ERG at about lunch time because I had a leaking pipe in the loft.  It was an emergency, hence I used an emergency service and was prepared to pay a premium for this.  They agreed to send someone by 3:00pm.  At 3:15, they called me to say that there was an unexpected delay and nobody would be available until 7-9pm.  At 9:15, still nobody had arrived, so I called them only to be told that they would not be coming after all.  During this time, the leak got worse and caused considerable damage.
Having now researched the company, it appears that ERG say yes to every first phone call, then try to sub out the job.  If they cannot find one, they simply don't show.  I'd avoid this company like the plague.  Awful business model and awful service.
