An absolute favourite. It’s been around for years and although the owners may have changed some of the popularity appears to have gone with it. Nonetheless, it’s still very good indeed. The portion sizes have remained good along with the quality of meats. Customer service is always perfect. The only minor gripe is that it has become a touch more expensive over the years.

Really very very good. Lovely food. lovely staff. Fantastic value. Highly recommended. Very knowledgeable about gluten free. Walked in with no booking and they juggled things around to get us in. Also when I said my son 15 was having a diabetic hypo, they were excellent very helpful. Made sure we had what we needed. Very accommodating and is happy cater for big groups. the best Lamb Dansak I have had in a very very long time. Lamb was cooked to perfection!
Been using this place for over 30 years and seen it go down since the original owner packed up. This new lot have turned it round. The food is out of this world a fresh new menu and we'll priced. Can't praise it enough and it's on my doorstep. How lucky am I. ?
very red decor. pink bathroom suite. chewy meat with a half decent thali. very cheap!!! definitely will be returning
This place is like the set for an Indian restaurant in Life On Mars. Arrived at stated time for reserved table but they appeared to be surprised by our arrival. They have 10 different wines listed but only stock 2. They don't tell you this choosing instead to keep pushing their house bottle of white. Finally got the truth when I asked for the menu back and pointed out specifically what I wanted. Service was very quick when you sat down - too quick. It's all about turnover in there so they want you sat down, eating then out again so new people can be seated. However credit where credit is due - The food is very nice and is very reasonably priced. Don't expect this place to improve anytime soon. There is absolutely no competition around so they will always have a high turnover of customers.
What a great place. Good value, nice food, great service. Oh and the other reviews are correct. If one loves ones curry served in the poshest of posh and if ones lace tablecloth must have a Harrods logo for you to enjoy the food - its not for you. Simple and down to earth - and not a snob in sight - hooray to that.
Just moved into the area, I’m a big foodie and never ever leave a review, looks like reputation speaks for its self. Literally have just eaten our takeaway value for your money and I have to praise the kitchen lads. Unbelievable food, we will be returning
Another cracking meal. Good food at a very good price. 3/10/15 visited for a takeaway. Not been for a while until today. Under new ownership now. Unfortunately food did not meet expectations as it normally would have. Prices have gone up and if paying with cheque you will have a extra 10% added to your bill as per there menu, also still no card payments. Was but now less.
Always come here with the wife when we fancy a curry. Food is reasonably priced and always enjoyed our meals. The staff are friendly and never noticed it being unclean. Would and do recommend here if your looking for a good curry.
