Absolutely a fantastic clean site! Views are stunning The beach is 5 minutes away, lots of dogs walking routes & a huge play area for children. A cafe, shop, bar and a restaurant all immaculate with friendly staff! We stayed in a Castaway beach caravan with a veranda & roof, fabulous location for us having a dog , enjoyed been nearer the beach rather the the play area.. One tiny negative the sofa needs replacing as it has definitely seen better days, other than that we all had a hassle free holiday, loved it!!
Lovely site, nice walks and beach. Great little shop, well stocked with essentials. Bit disappointed with restaurant having no space for us at 7pm when we were told walk- in’s were accepted and there was at least 12 vacant tables all needing cleaned! We passed half hour later and it still wasn’t busy. Toilets were nice and kept clean but unfortunately not powerful enough as every time we went in there were remnants from previous users in all 4 toilets. Showers were kept clean and were warm, not hot and not a lot of pressure either. Good undercover wash area for dishes - water was scalding hot and pressure was fine.
Lovely location but restaurant staff not very attentive and quite rude. Also the toilet were very dirty. They are unisex toilets and extremely filthy with no loo roll. Extremely high winds over night which meant we couldn’t pitch our tent and slept in the car. Woke up early left and went down the road to a wild campsite near the light house which had public toilet and we’re extremely clean. Won’t be returning in a hurry.
We live locally and are frequently visit the cafe. The coffee is very good and there is a great selection of well presented meals. This year the highlight of our visits was Val. So helpful and cheery, plus she makes a great coffee. A definite asset to the company.
It's a great location the touring site i would say they are a bit close to each other the electric hook ups trip out they won't boil a kettle that's the kettle I've used for 7 years touring with everything else turned off then thiers the showers spent 3 nights had one decent shower will not be back
Just spent a week at site with my granddaughter and had a great time.staff in club were all great at kids Halloween party and this weekend was very busy and staff were all brilliant a. Keep up the good work x
We took a walk round the park to check out the pitches. It's a well laid out site, all the pitches have power and water from what I can see. There are chalet's also, and static caravans. I didn't see any pitches for unpowered but it came on drizzling rain so we kind of sped up the walk through. I know my cousin goes there regularly with his motorhome and is always keen to go back. In fact we're to book 2 pitches together us with the trailer tent and his motorhome next door should be a hoot.
This is our 3rd time at Elie Holiday Site for camping, we love this site, it's great for kids and right on the beach shell bay. Elie beach is 5 minute drive away or 30 min walk which is a game changer for any beach lover, it's beautiful and you have water sports if you fancy it! Only reason I never gave the holiday site a five star is because since covid rules have relaxed it appears the cleaning has too. The toilets and showers were really not of great standard throughout the whole weekend, the rest of the group I was with also picked up on this.
Lovely site with lots to do as it is a big family site with restaurant/cafe/pub on site. Well stocked shop and play area for children. Close to the beach so well worth a visit in the area
Elie Park is absolutely fantastic very clean and well maintained only issue is service in restaurant/cafe is absolutely disgraceful the time waiting on food is unacceptable albeit food has never been disappointing but can't justify the amount of time between ordering and receiving on all 4 occasions there has been a long waiting time this needs improving then my score would be 5 without any hesitation. Playground: Absolutely fantastic play area for kids. We'll impressed. Restrooms: All areas are clean and well maintained. Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly park. Although I don't agree with dogs in restaurant/cafe this in my opinion shouldn't be allowed. Picnic area: Nice clean picnic areas.
