Great food and atmosphere that never seems to disappoint! We went recently with family and had asked for a Gluten free bread roll and before I could blink it was on a plate! Can’t fault ! The carvery is an all time great. Love it!
The restaurant at Eleven is a huge dinner hall of a place akin to a motorway service station self service carvery.nI opted for a la carte and being in Stornaway famous for its black pudding chose the pulled beef and black pudding stack. It was more a mound than a stack. A mush of stringy beef with chips mixed into it with small bits of black pudding.nExtremely poor fare!
Lovely carvery buffet or order à la carte. Good selection and, importantly for us, you're allowed to take your dog with you. To eat you have to stay in the bar area at the door where there are 2 or 3 tables. I personally don't mind where I am, as long as I don't have to leave our dog in the car for longer than necessary when we're on the go.
Had the A la carte as it offered more value for money. The starter was a taste of everything on offer as I picked my own. The roast beef dinner could have been better as I could not cut through the roast potatoes and the beef was very dry. Overall not really impressed with the meal.
HIGHLY recommend the all you can eat buffet... so much choice and every dish as delicious as the next. Reasonable pricing, service is OK, could be a little faster on drink orders but always feel comfortable, even with the noisy kids!
