Dined here late afternoon / early Friday evening. The food was average tasting, although presented well. Service was friendly and efficient. Very little whisky in the Irish coffee. The ambience of the place was lacking for me. Too much din from all the voices having to shout above others to be heard. This got worse the busier it got. Clearly this is not a problem for some people as the place seemed popular. Probably more suitable for office parties.
Had a fantastic evening meal during weekend. Friendly staff recommendation for the soup of the day and I had others straight from the menu. Starter: Soup of the Day - Great flavour of parsnip and served hot during a cold evening Main: Lemon Chicken Milanese - Nicely done Milanese with a good twist of lemon taste, simply loving it Dessert: Warm Triple Chocolate Brownie - Very standard level of Brownie, nothing much to comment on The food menu really follows the Mediterranean style and I highly recommend booking to avoid dissapointment during peak hours. -
Went for a works Christmas meal. It was a set three course meal for £29.95. The staff were very polite, the food was fresh and hot. The restaurant is in a nice location overlooking the Winter GardensFood: 4/5
Always great food and staff was realy busy but got served straight away with dribks and food didn't take long either
Absolutely fantastic place! Lovely atmosphere, they bring water to the table when you arrive which is a nice touch and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had the 3 course prix fixe which is an incredible deal and the food was well presented, ideal portion size, and delicious! Would absolutely recommend and if you sign up to their free club you get some brilliant offers too

First time for a night out in Sheffield. My girlfriend picked here. I'm glad she did, absolutely wonderful meal. Staff were also nice and friendly.
They have a vegan menu with a fair range of dishes. The staff were friendly. They have a nice range of mocktails too. Really nice vegan desserts that aren't just sorbet!Food: 4/5
Easily my favourite restaurant! Whenever someone mentions going out for a meal, Ego is the first place I suggest. Every time we've been, the staff have been lovely, the food has been so tasty, and the drinks are gorgeous! The atmosphere is so relaxed, perfect for a meal out.
As always, had a lovely time at Ego. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, that also vary in price, along with a prix fixe menu that is excellent value. So while it can be expensive, there are also plenty of less pricey items on the menu to choose from. Every dish we have tried here has been top quality, including excellent steaks. The staff are always friendly and attentive. Always have a great time here.
