I called at the Garage last Friday with the intention of buying a car, providing the deal was reasonable. I spoke to Brian who was courteous and helpful. The offer for my trade in was both ridiculous and insulting and I was not able to make a deal. On Wednesday this week I again contacted the garage to speak to Brian and possibly get him to reconsider his original offer for my trade in. Two days later I am still waiting on him to call me back. I can only describe this behaviour as atrocious
Recently purchased a beautiful car from Edwin Mays, we had the pleasure of Brian helping us with our purchase. From day one, there was complete communication and honesty. Nothing was too much for the team, the car had ran out of MOT - this was made very clear to us in the first 30 seconds of the initial phone call. Once we agreed on the sale Brian rapidly secured an appointment, and the car passed! We had one concern after we test drove the car, which we highlighted to Brian. We had looked at a number of dealerships ranging from Crossgar to Belfast right down to Armagh. We are two ladies, I am an engineer by trade and hence I'm not stupid when it comes to cars - I never mentioned this to Brian or the team. Us ladies were treated with so much respect, once I had raised the issue Brian immediately checked it out for me and even convinced a member of his team to double check I honestly still maintain the issue was in my head! But the point is we were not immediately dismissed nor made feel stupid - unlike other gents we have had to deal with in other dealerships. I could have asked for the moon and I am sure Brian and the team would have a piece of it in the boot for me! When leaving with our new car, I shook hands with Brian and told him I would see him for my next purchase - and I definitely will. Thank you Brian, and thank you to the wider Edwin Mays team at Portadown - sorry for the length of this! Megan and Ciara

Can’t recommend Brian and the team enough! Traded my old car in for a new GTD and it was completely hassle free. Got a great price for my old car and the whole team couldn’t do enough to help!
Still waiting on a response to a very bad service. Paid for a service plan and what I was left with was a dangerous car that should not have been on the road. I have left it over a month with a few emails and yet to have a response. Ended up having to bring my car to a different mechanic who told me my car should not have been on the road. Now in for the long hall with a service plan which I pay monthly for, ended up getting a new car with Charles hurst and can’t even move my service plan over to my new car either, wish I never went near Edwin mays
Bought a used 2008 Mazda Mx5 from this dealership in January to import down to the Republic. Brian was very honest and helpful and it was a pleasure to purchase a car from him. Car was exactly as described and Brian let us look over the car ourselves and even take it for a spin on our own! The car just passed its first NCT with flying colours! Many thanks. - Bryan
Fantastic customer service. From initial call to sorting out a small issue after I had bought my car, couldn't be happier with all aspects of dealing with Edwin May Portadown. All was great when you bring your daughter in to purchase her first car. Really nice, shared humour and a sense of trust built. A few hiccups as we expected with a new car but they only became a problem when we needed support from our retailer. After sales service was needed. Dreadful communications. After sales were so awful here. The sales guy would not even return our calls. I had to email senior Management at Roadside to intervene. Would never purchase from here again or recommend.
Bought my new golf from Edwin May Portadown this week past.....as usual Andrew was so professional from start to finish....nothing was too much bother. We have been buying our cars from Andrew for around the last 10years approx with no hassles at all...would go no where else....well done!
We have just ordered our new VW Tiguan. All in all it was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Gareth was very knowledgeable when it came to advise on what model to buy. He was very friendly and pleasant a real asset to Edwin May VW.
