Let down so awfully by this firm, not once but TWICE. In the name of "best interest" these donkey so-called "lawyers" ran and appointed a third party law firm to act on my brother's "best interest" through the court of protection. What a joke, an absolute FAILURE. It has dragged on now for almost TWO YEARS, when we only wanted to consult in relation to his medication (by the way which is BANNED in the USA and now even Switzerland have moved away from the use of psychiatric drugs. Maybe in 100 years the UK will catch up after more and more preventable deaths of the disabled and mentally ill mount up). In the meantime he has been left to rot in a placement which is completely unsuitable to his needs, said by ALL the staff in the care home and even the clinical and social service team had to agree, and yet now that we want to safeguard him where they have all failed, we are told it has to GO THROUGH THE COURT AGAIN! All of this started because of Peter Edwards, bunch of morons with no moral or ethical compass. 

Meanwhile, my brother is covered in black and blue bruises, left in a rural middle of nowhere placement where he shouldn't be and where all the staff say is not suitable for his needs, mounting up "incident reports" because obviously he is so traumatized being there and is unable to cope or express his frustration any other way - yet, his so-called "litigation friend" appointed through Peter Edwards has failed to listen, failed to observe and failed to act in his best interest at all! The priority should be to SAFEGUARD a vulnerable person, not punish or allow the punishment of them, then say we should not believe them. This is the most backward kind of system - reminds me of the lack of child protection before the Children Act came into force. I mean I say Jimmy Saville - what happened 50 - 60 years ago is only now being brought to justice. That's exactly what the care system is like, with lawyers who are only interested in a pay out and not in helping vulnerable people get justice.

Thank God I went to law school, because I was able to advise my parents that what they should have done is apply for a deputyship. For a so called specialist firm who should have acted in their client's best interest,  we were so badly let down and now this is a never ending nightmare that we are stuck in playing on a loop every single day. Absolutely detestable. Do not use this firm.

Absolutely disgraceful treatment at the hands of this man, Peter Edwards avoid like the plague.
