Wonderful food and service.
A very basic pub. Serve a typical range of beers and snacks. Played cheesy pop tunes. Smelt a bit funky
Food and drink very good standard pub food. Service very good. Cv19 arrangements good, but mean the ambience not so good as usual.
We were going to book a meal here. But having had a drink in there we decided against it. When most of the staff and the “locals” were not wearing face masks when moving about the pub we thought better of it. I’m sure they’ll be moaning when the area goes into tighter restrictions. But one reaps what one sows.
I was so impressed by this place today. We were there for a family meal after a funeral - a large group - and it was perfect for the occasion. Good, hot, well presented and tasty food, reasonably priced, and everyone got exactly what they ordered. Our waitress was lovely, and nothing too much trouble. Definitely recommend.
Excellent service and food, well organised within covid safe rules.
Perfect pints of Woodfordes Wherry in the hidden sun trap of the courtyard garden.
