"Eden Rock Edinburgh is an indoor climbing centre with an eco-friendly cafe and specialist climbing shop. We are the largest bouldering wall in Scotland, with dedicated training facilities, a fitness area, kids' room and climbs for everyone from beginners to experienced pros. We offer a range of courses for families, groups and beginners, such as Taster Sessions and Inductions. Our Kids' Clubs cater for children aged 3-17 years, where they climb in small groups led by one of our expert instructors. For adult climbers, we provide both private and group coaching, and the chance to experience outdoor climbing on real rock! We had a great time bouldering on a quiet Monday morning. The place is huge with great route variety. Will go back.
Amazing location for bouldering. Perfect for people just beginning or people who have had years of practice. It is often quite busy on the weekends however weekdays and evenings seem to be good times to go. They have a great range of difficulty on their walls and they are organised really well. The kids area is really nice and has a lot of space. The cafe is also very good!
This place was awesome. Great fun. Hard work.nnWill definitely be making a point in coming here more often.nnTook about a week to recover but it was totally worth it.nnPerfect place to come with friends and spend the day.
Brilliant route setting! Really technical and tactical as opposed to most walls which just focus on making holds smaller or moves more reachy when it gets to the harder routes. Clearly the setting team are very good to be able to create the variety they have while keeping the quality of the climbing up. And that's saying something given the amount of walls I've climbed at and the amount of climbing I've done over the years
I take my 7 year old to boulder at Eden Rock. It's a great space with a really calm, relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Lots of different routes to climb, and kids are allowed almost everywhere. You can hire shoes and stay as long as you want. We have been at various points during weekends and it's never been too busy. Will continue to come!
