Everyone at Eddie's Cafe played their part in throwing a surprise birthday for my favourite Messy Tart. Great food and hospitality. Thank you all so much. No letter "Y" s were hurt in the making of this review.

Popped in last night for some food and drink as their food is good ..... If they are serving it ! I  was first to arrive as I was meeting a mate there at 8pm. However, arrived at 7.55pm to find the kitchen had just closed as "it's quiet tonight". The lady behind the counter was apologetic and offered a refund on my drink I just bought. My only advice is check if food will be on offer when you plan to go. Disappointed, we moved on elsewhere ..... Leaving the pub even quieter !

Good food and drinks with a decent kids menu pricing is fair  I had a steak which was cooked perfectly  Taking covid measures seriously which is great to see  Pros - took kids but allergies very seriously  Cons - automatic service charge. Pet peeve as it usually makes customers uncomfortable to take it off and tips should be left to customers

Eddies never fails to disappoint.. Best fish n chips and battered sausage I know of in the area... Lovely customer service, quality food and will definitely recommend. 5* Thank you.

Never been here before yet being local to the area for a while. It was lovely, we were made to feel so welcome, service was great and excellent value. Great choice of food and drink and comfortable surroundings. Will be back

The customer service is poor , as poor as the hygiene standards. The lady who served me with the same glove she has done the fried she handle everything else.  I've ordered chicken and chips, what a mistake!! The chips were mushy, tasteless, clearly old and not fresh as advertised. The chicken was blend, dry and hard to cut. Both, chicken and chips, had something in common: the greasy taste of an old reused frying oil.  I've tried my best to eat it. I could not do even the half of any of them. I had to bin it, and but the rubbish out since the smell of greasy  old frying oil infested the room.

Great little cafe, excellent coffee and food. The staff are super friendly and very good with the regulars - like me. Visit!
