Antique Rapid AC charger trickled at 9.2kw. I would have had to wait 8 hours for a charge to get tge 70 miles home. Avoid if at all possible.
First time using public charge point but Gridserve made the process easy. I like the plug and pay aspect. I was worried about logging into an app etc but this was seamless. Although the Chademo said 60 kw/h, the screen ranged from 29kw-47kw. I was the only vehicle plugged in at the time.
Must increase the charging speed Its good if we get some fair price
Coming down from Co Durham to High Wycombe, and recently to Heathrow. There maybe outlets at the service stations. But very few working!!! Leading to stress and frustration for all why can they not be serviced regularly to ensure they work. Also why have 2 attachments the same but only work one at a time
No issues charging at Trowell services southbound today, Gridserve chargers I normally find work well. One question for Gridserve to answer, when will Leicester Forest East chargers start working again ?
Excellent user experience. Just plug in and pay with contactless and off you go. No messing about with apps, costly subscriptions or unique access cards. Gridserve have nailed it. The actual experience at the site was disappointing. Firstly the spaces are just regular parking spaces and need to be bigger to accommodate different charge point locations on vehicles. Secondly it was only allowing the first vehicle to charge so users of the second charge point we're unable to charge their car. Is this a fault or a feature of this charge point? Final point, the charge point had a price per kWh stated on the unit, the same price was shown on Gridserve's website however the price on the screen was much higher so I've no idea what it has cost me and feel misled about the cost. Pricing needs to be more transparent and consistent or customers may choose to go elsewhere.
1 charger in working order, fast though, charging at 52kw
Not enough charging stationbut really easy to use. All the station are available now. Parking space not enough and not big enough@
Two of the four points weren’t working. The other one was taken so had to wait an hour. Speed of charge is really slow. Avoid!
I charged my car with the rapid charger successfully. Easy to use.
