We knew we wanted Schuco bifold doors, and they didn't disappoint. You get what you pay for, and it was a fair price from Eco Thermal. Paul made a site visit to meet our builder to ensure a perfect indoor / outdoor threshold and this definitely paid off as the doors look stunning. Aftersales very good, had a minor hiccup post fitting and this was sorted swiftly. Recommended to family and friends. Thank you Paul & co. The Croft's.
We had both a Solidor front door and Kommerling French doors fitted to our property in an exposed location in South Yorkshire. I'd read many reviews about Solidor and the German Kommerling profiles and thought these products would meet my specifications. EcoThermal weren’t the cheapest quote but I wanted a quality install with aftersales care so I went with EcoT after some research. We had additionally received a personal recommendation. There were many remedial installation issues including glass panes that had to be replaced THREE times due to defects. Each time Patrick and the installers did come back and resolve most issues but then did not return calls and we still have draughts. Both doors look good and have a quality finish but the thermal performance is significantly below my expectations. I am extremely disappointed with the thermal performance which is only marginally better than the 15 year old doors that were replaced considering what I was promised by Patrick and subsequently paid. Both the front and back doors have draughts and heat loss that Eco can’t eliminate blaming the house design. The heat losses are no where near as I was hoping for. We still have to use heavy curtains behind both doors which is very very disappointing. With hindsight I should have gone for an A++ rated system. For a company called "Eco" and "Thermal", in my experience the products don't live up to that name and I am disappointed with Eco Thermal. After this review, a year later I was contacted by EcoT saying they can resolve the issues and did aplogise. Someone came out to readjust the back door. It was fine for 5 weeks. Now it will not close again so my review is back up. The owner admitted that the french door will contract and expand with temperatures therefore be draughty in winter and will not close in summer! Not what I expected for £1,300. They never called back about remedial repairs to the front door. I have given up on them, put it down to bad experience and will have to fork out for something better in a few years.
my wife and I had a new solidor front door fitted yesterday in chartwell green with prairie glass panels and it looks absolutely fantastic. the whole experience of dealing with eco thermal design has been nothing short of perfect, from our meeting with Patrick who presented the product and his quotation in a most professional manner and paul who was a great help and assistance when we visited the showroom to view the options available.Last but by no means least our fixer rob was brilliant a real master craftsman of the highest order and very customer focused and on top of that just a great bloke, we feel that anyone seeking this kind of work being done need look no further as this as to be as good as it gets roger & Christine Stephenson mirfield west yorks. 15- 03-17
Accommodation was superb, best bed in any hotel I've slept in. Friendly staff. Location brilliant.
Friendly, professional, reasonably priced and high quality product. Will be using again!
