Just returned home from a wonderful break at Eco camp. Such a great location, it's just magical. My two daughters 8 and 10 and I really enjoyed the layout of our bell test pitch. The bucket showers were a great hit, in fact, my daughters asked to have showers every day! The lovely people running the site were great characters. Even the epic storm last night couldn't dampen our spirits. We will be back.

This is one of the best campsites we have ever stayed at. Beautiful woodland, great for walking with kids and plenty space. The people who run it are a delight too, we first went there three years ago when they started out and they were as lovely this time as last. Good luck to you guys, you have done a great job!

This campsite is really the best. It is very beautiful, tranquil, clean and spacious. The facilities are absolutely great, it's very well maintained and the hosts, Lawrence and Theresa are with great sense of humor! This place has everything that you need to feel good and enjoy the nature! Definitely recommend it!

It's a beautiful and serene campsite. If you want to feel away from everything, this is the place to go. We couldn't even see another pitch from our tent! It got a bit spooky in fact as we were the only people there. Having been to blackberry wood previously, the isolated experience and getaway feel was superior here. The walks are better too. Also the warden was nice enough to give me some fresh grown kale for use in my stew! Only negative here is the price. I get that it's high season, but what were we really paying for other than the pitch in the 72 quid asking price(2 adults 2 nights plus one pitch). The toilets are mostly compost heaps. The showers are mostly buckets. (Cute, but does that indicate a higher price?) We had to rent a grill, a rusty old and warped grill for 2 quid a night. Is that really necessary? The wood here is also 6 pounds per bag which isn't too bad but still, would be nice to have a bag included for the price. I've had cheaper getaways of the same off the beaten path style, but none so nice and none so isolated. Does this mean it's worth so much? Maybe not. I would say I had a lovely time but probably won't pay for high season again unless the price includes something more.
