Had a fabulous night watching James, and Doves. The arena itself is easy to find, brilliant venue. Plenty of parking nearby, and a great set up for the bands, we were seated in the lower tier, 17 g, and the view was amazing. Would definitely go here again to watch gigs.
Visited the M&S Bank Arena to see Barry Manilow in his last last show. The arena was well staffed no big ques, quick service at the bar. The sound wasnt brilliant but Barry made up for that. Enjoyed the show, what a showman he is at 82 he still has it
It's great having a large venue in Liverpool and close to the Wirral! Accessibility options require a card I didn't know about but will be looking into for next time but the staff were incredibly helpful in assisting me even without this. The upper seats don't have lift access, which makes getting up there a bit of a nightmare - as a mobility aid user, that was a struggle if I'd waited to book accessible seats, the whole show would have likely sold out by the time I got through - but the view was incredible, and the seats are much more comfortable than many other venue seats I've sat in. Good amount of refreshment stands, and the lighting and sound were great!
Despite the crowd, the network was lovely and the ambience very beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous!nShame I didn't take photos of the riverside gate, just the city side gate. Either way, It was a lovely place. Should come again.
I went to see Gorillaz and it was great. The acoustics were better than the arena in Manchester that I went to last time. The drinks and snacks weren't too expensive and the staff were really friendly. This is a good venue for a gig.
