We met our wonderful tour guide Isaac, at the Borough Market this morning. He took us through a lot of interesting history and introduced us to some wonderful English foods-cheese, pastries, cider, fish and chips, and oh the lovely sausage roll! The market was a crowded place on a Sunday, but we never felt we were being rushed through anything. Isaac was knowledgeable about the foods, and the history, and delivered both with a sense of humor. Quite a nice, and yummy way to spend a couple hours!
Great tour! We had Izaak as our guide and he gave a good overview of history. The food stops are delicious and filling. The pace is just right, not super quick but not a crawl.
Great Experience! This was our third Eating Europe tour and each one has been better than the next. Our guide Tom was fabulous - super friendly and knowledgeable. The food and cocktail selection was unexpected and diverse. Each sampling was more delicious than the last! I highly recommend.
Joining the Borough Market & Bankside Food Tour was exhilarating! Our guide, Kaffe Keating, was a great guide, keeping us engaged with his captivating storytelling and charismatic personality. The detailed history of the market, spanning over 1000 years, left us in awe. We tasted our way through the market, trying local cheeses, a unique fruit crumble, and the BEST sausage roll in the city. The tour was both fun and uplifting, immersing us in the rich cultural importance of this iconic food destination. Trust me, you don't want to miss this experience!
Great tour of Borough Market!! Pip did a great job of sharing history of the market with a fun selection of food. I would definitely encourage anyone interested in Borough Market to start with this tour!
Food stops were plentiful and delicious! Definitely enough for a full meal. The sausage roll was amazing. Tom was very friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I loved hearing the history of the Thames River.
We had a great Borough Market food tour. Isaac was very knowledgeable and super friendly. The walk was informative. We were taken to places we wouldn’t have found or visiting on our own. The sticky toffee pudding was sublime!

My husband and I booked the Brick Lane, Shoreditch and Spitalfields tour yesterday. Our guide was Lauren and she was outstanding. Bubbly, informative and very friendly. It was fascinating to learn so much about this area of the East End. Every food stop was excellent and diverse. Don’t have breakfast before you go we didn’t need supper either!. It was one of the best immersive tours we have ever done and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you Lauren - you were brilliant.
