Had a walk on Monday through Eastham wood's with my husband. Lovely bright day and the birds were singing up in the trees. Lots of dog walkers and lovely views of the Mersey, really enjoyed it!
This is a truly lovely place to walk and take your mind off during the past year's debacles. A brisk walk can easily do a lap of the entire area in around an hour, but strolling through and taking the time to say hello to passerbys and absorb the fascinating display of nature - is what makes this the comfort place that it is.
Some lovely woodlands to walk through. A couple of nice pubs and an ice cream shop. Great view of the Mersey, and you can usually see right the way from St John's tower in the city centre to Liverpool airport and beyond. Port Sunlight River Park gets you a closer view of Liverpool, though.
Great place for a few hours walk. Beautiful views across the river. Interesting remains of Victorian amusement Park and bear pit. Along with the joys of mother nature
Lovely place to take your children to learn about wildlife and a dog friendly place but you have to pay for parking which is nothing to me as it's a lovely place.
Was lovely walk during covid plenty of open space
Car park charges will encourage parking in local roadways. Great outlook across The Mersey and country walks through the woodlands too.
A great little place.Perfect for walking the dog,but bring your wellingtons,because it can get very muddy.Nice dog friendly cafe and pub nearby,and great views of the Mersey Estuary.Plenty of parkingpay and display,but does get busy at certain times.
