Since eastern promise opened it has always been my favourite Indian restaurant. Blakey is very polite and friendly and have always had great food and great prices. Very comfortable environment always clean and tidy. Highly recommended!!
The staff were friendly but slow two of our party left because the curry took that long and when it did come it was bland well mine was I can't comment about the others. To be fair to the place once the curry's were out and we were tucking in the staff did bring out extra nan for us with the choice you have in the area I don't think I will bother
Decent little curry house. Only problem is that there isn't much space to spread out and relax seating. The parking is okay, just be mindful of parking too far away especially on a night.

Used Blakeys for years and it pains me to give such a review. Waited nearly two hours for food, rang after an hour and was told "it's done it's here ready to go just waiting for driver". Turned up another hour later cold, oh well bit un happy but in the microwave it went and crisped up the soggy nan on the gas hob. Starter was very unpleasant as onion bhaji and chicken pakora is batter based it went soggy in the microwave, nibbled and into the bin. Main was so salty it was horrible and just couldn't eat it, absolutely vile. I will never step foot in the restaurant or have takaway every again.
Pleasantly surprised, we went to the restaurant without booking, the food turned out to be great and service & staff brilliant. Will definitely be visiting here again.
Nothing like the east Not a place I will be visiting again. Used to be good but didn't move from the restroom this morning and stomach hurts. Shittos. Keep overcharging me and was around 7GBP as well.
Not just the best curry house one of the best restaurants in the midlands. Value for money without compromising on taste and quality. Book now!
Great food, not expensive and nice staff
A nice place to visit. The staff are very pleasant and the food is really nice and would recommend.
