Not the best place I've ever stayed but could have been worse. Clean sheets and was warm. We had a group of about 10 and we found that the upstairs lighting kept tripping the fuse box- so we ended up not having any lights upstairs in the end! We all gathered around the fire in the downstairs dining room as the heating took a while to start (also off before we arrived). During the day was great, nice and warm and lots of useful equipment in the kitchen. Could be an amazing place for groups if someone put a bit of money into it. Potentially needs a visit from an electrician!
