Brilliant station for park and ride for London. Huge car park which is never full and is lower cost than in the cities. Easy and small station with a good cafe.
Very clean train station, staff are always cleaning. There is only one small coffee shop to get food and beverages though and that has limited opening hours. To get to East Midlands airport they do now have a bus service very cheap!! which is ‘Nottsbus on demand’ so the connections are getting better. Quiet station with car park. Accessibility friendly when the lifts are in working order. They also have period care packages in case anyone gets stuck and also a clean sheltered waiting room with a departure board and lots of seating.
This station is surrounded by massive chimneys because its next to the power station

Hard to get too on public transport from East midlands airport,cost over 20 pounds by taxi
A good station but the parking cost is excessive. If you arrive before 9.30am it's £8 per day which is more than a lot of city centre parking. Considering there is literally no other reason to park here other than spending money on a rail journey, I think it should be free like many other park and ride services, to encourage customers to use it.

Clean Train station with easy access to the trains. However, the bus is more difficult to find as it is not clearly marked
Nice clean train station. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re going to East Midlands Airport. They’ve stopped the shuttle bus to the airport and now you have to get private taxis. There weren’t any when we arrived and the number they give you doesn’t always answer. Thankfully a lovely young man offered to share his cab with us and we made it in time.
I was appalled with the attendee we had last night. 12.6.16 The doors on the train closed automatically so we missed it. My son is autistic and had a minor melt down and the station attendee at the time was completely unacceptable in the rude and obnoxious way he delt with him.The only saving grace was the staff member at the ticket booth was very understanding.
