Booked my car in for an MOT after a recommendation. I’m always a bit wary with garages as I have felt ripped off a few times after putting cars in different garages over the years, but I couldn’t be more happy with the service I’ve received today. My car needed new break pads & discs and it was the same price that I’ve paid for pads only elsewhere! Derek gave me advice on another issue I have with my car as well (not MOT related) without pushing for me to get it done today. 
I won’t go anywhere else now.

After being told by Halfords(after a free winter health check) my 2008 Fiat Panda would need £1600 worth of work to get it road worthy I booked my car in with Derek at Ek Service Centre to give me an honest opinion. My MOT was due and I had used this garage before with good results. Derek checked it over and apart from a few new tyres and some minor niggles assured me I didnt need to invest the above sum. 2 weeks later my car has just passed its MOT and is driving better than ever..I'll not use any other garage now. Good price and quick service.I was so pleased I recommended to a friend who has since used the garage, she was also extremely happy😀😀😀

Phoned to book my car in for service. I normally do it myself and it takes me no more than 45 mins to do a full service - drain, replace oil, change filters - oil, air and fuel. A very basic job to do and by the road side takes very little time. However when I called I was told this would take 2 hours to do with 2 hours labour at £45. Out of the question I said. Phoned another garage who done it all in 25 mins flat for £50! when i told the mechanic the story he said its not the first time he's heard it!  Will definetly avoide East Kilbride Service center!
